wow back from the dead..
never took this long to update!
so anyways.. lessee wat has been going on..
APO has been busy.. lots of pledges, lots of events
i got a job with ICTP (yes, i kno the name sounds funee)
they are gonna be training me and getting me 6 certifications and placing me in a job for 6 months (work study program thing) so when i get out ill be waay more marketable... wee haw
now the only thing im waiting on is if i should take it.. it starts mid november, which would mean i have to commute to anaheim 3 times a week, deal with that in the last month of school.. the scheduling works out, im only missing my discussions.. itll just be really hard on me
work is ok, took the week off last week to go to anaheim a few times.. rented a car one day, had ray's car the other day..
yes, i am a car whore!
thats another issue about the job too, is the car thing.. im pretty sure ill be able to get one from the parents if they give me the "go" on it.. they havent really yet, but theyve stopped saying no..
i come in to work today, and nothing is working.. nothing.
the only one i see in the lab is a newbie, and shes out helping somene, and the desk is completely empty, Zeus station isnt working, staff site isnt working... in fact the staff site still isnt working. it took more than 30 min to get even this external site up.. weehaw.. see what happens when i leave for even just a week??!
on the other hand, there have been 2 almost-cute users checking out laptops from me.. thats 2 more than usual..
ok yes, im "frustrated".. but theres no one to help me with that!
anyways.. yea.. so im worried about mary t.. paul was talking on the fone with her when i was in the car with him, and sounds like shes really concerned about apo and not happy with it. to the point that shes thinking of quitting??! my first lady?!
i do understand that we are very pledged focused and stuff, but i dunno wat do do about the actives.. active retreat is a good idea.. hopefully we'll be able to get that going...
other than that though, i dunno wat i can do for active retention.. i think thats wat mary is sad about..
wish she would talk to me about it to.. so i kno wat is going on.. we are in our excomm bubble and dunno wats goin on with the actives untill we hear from the grapevine.. and most of the time when we hear from the grapevine, its trash talk, and someones talking shiet about something.. not cool!
anyways, yea.. im worried about my first lady!! she cant leave on my watch!!
