And tonite when i was performing some routine maintenance on paul's computer, paul's calendar was open and i saw something that was pretty touching.. i guess i havent stopped to think about all the "lasts" im going to be having in the next week and a half that im here. i guess i know that im leaving LA, but it hasnt "hit" me yet (ouch!) that im leaving LA for good, not one of those im-going-home-for-a-few-days-ill-see-you-guys-soon kind of trips, rather good-bye for a long time kind of trip.
been trying to keep busy since aimee, and i guess ive succeeded since i havent had a chance to really absorb the fact that everything i've known for the past 6 years is going to be left behind in a matter of days, and the only way i'll be able to revisit it momentarily is if i drive for 5 hours each way, even then only once in a while, especially if im working up there.
its been a good 6 years in LA, and i wouldnt trade it for anything, but at the same time im glad to have new things going on for me.
