so i had one GREAT weekend in LA!
(thurs, 7:30pm) gracie came down with me, and i drove hard down to LA, averaging about 95-105 mph getting down there.. got to the LA county line in 3 hours and 45 min, to westwood in 4 and a half.. dropped gracie off in cerritos, and met up with kamille, paul, jerry. yvonne, and victoria for shaved ice down the street at our usual place(12am).. gracies mom is soooo nice! she wouldnt let me leave the house, kept insisting that i stay there for the nite, gave me eggrolls, insisted some more.. kept me there for like 10 min! i kno where gracie gets her niceness from now.. yey for nice-ness
so the next day (fri) paul, jerry and i went to westwood to run some errands.. i got my hair cut, they went shopping for games and stuff at EB and best buy.. paul ended up getting the xbox karaoke game and 2 mics. its fun! i think we went thru the 15 songs on it tho, so go there and play.. its fun! anyways, we got that chicken and fries that paul raves about on his xanga.. yummy stuff i tell ya.. dino's in ktown..
as for my interview at Stamps.com, it went pretty well, i would say.. talked to the supervisor for about an hour, he showed me around the company.. then i talked to the director for a while, then took a "tech test" that i pretty much aced.. they were really impressed that i drove all the way down there for the interview, and said that i was way overqualified for the tech support position.. we'll see what the offer is, and then i'll decide after that.. it would be kewl to work back down in LA tho.. its in santa monica, out by my old apo apt.
later on was the matrix fellowship.. ALOT of us were there, good times! the movie was a little dissapointing, and some of the funee parts werent meant to be funnee: I can't go any further with you, Neo. afterwards was dXm family sleepover, fun stuffs! we played truth or dare.. well truth or truth more like.. two dares the entire game.. but yah hehe.. paul and jerry made their steaks too, yommy as always
sat was looking good nite at grand lux.. good stuffs, everyone looked nice.. SD and irvine peeps came up too, so it was good stuffs..
got to see daryl and diana.. its been a looong time since i talked to them folks! anyways, yah.. some peepo had to go to other restaurants cuz the wait was too long.. good job to the chairs for getting peepo there and eating somehow!
sun: roscoes with us and sd peeps after their fila service project early that morning.. then did drop-offs and back to pauls place for a while before leaving to pick up gracie and go back home again.. got grace around 7 and was on our way up at 8 (had to get some boba first!) went to wat used to be relaxtation at sawtelle and olympic with gracie and kamille... paul was there in spirit but he had to leave for work when i left his place..
a HUGE thanks to paul for letting me always stay at his place when i come down! he's the man! anyways, so get this.. I take my time comming back up.. goin about 80-85 mph.. way slower than comming down.. we leave at 8.. get back at 12:30.. STILL 4 and a half hours to get back.. wat the? from now on i'll just take my time, it doesnt make any difference how fast i go! just more gas burned i guess.. stayed up on the fone till late still.. wasnt tired
today: went running with janee again.. we even ran backwards for a bit this time too.. hehe.. yeye for workout buddies, i wouldnt have this ass *slap* if it wasnt for janee! get workout buddies, folks.. they work!
janee and i had an idea today for us up north folks.. xmas secret santa gift exchange! yeye fun!
15-20 bucks, we'll exchange at a potluck or something at someones house.. anyone else up here wishing to partake lemme kno! may try egg nog too.. never had it before..
