how could an 80's club be fun?
friday night we spent at Space, formerly Lush.
the crowd was mostly older white people (obviously).
the band was dressed in "traditional" 80's costumes, including the lead singer who had a mullet wig and an unbuttoned vest. they looked hilarious!
they rocked the 80's cover hits! maybe it was the costumes, maybe it was the drinks, maybe it was the present company, but before long, we were all rockin the dance floor! Sure, we didnt know some of the songs, but it was a GREAT time! who would have thought? oh, and meeting new people is fun too!
sat we rocked century club, where these two guys shouted at me, "play on, playa!" why did they say that?? it was fun, i drank with grace and teeda, then later with anna when she came. apparently, i was a belligerant drunk. but no, i wasnt like mel yet ;)
great times with great people!
oh, watched Sky Captain this weekend too.. despite some people not liking it, be and grace agreed it was cool! great CGI, slow story but i was watching the CGI. defeintely a feast for the eyes. too bad "frankie" was only on for like 2 min.. shes badass! i want to watch all the movies in the previews too!
