While I was checking my PCV valve this weekend, I had to touch it in order to check it, right? I by touched the PCV, it broke. I'm either way buffer than my own good, or the thing was flimsy old plastic that shouldnt be in the engine bay in the first place. (For those of you who dont know, the Positive Crankcase Ventilation valve is an emissions control device that routes unburned crankcase blowby gases back into the intake manifold where they can be reburned.)

So I drove around to 5 different auto parts places before I found the part actually in stock, all while having a broken PCV, causing my idle to be around 1700 RPM. 2 hours later, a $4 part was obtained, finally. Good thing I changed it out too; the valve was all sludgy and nasty.

I also got a new fuel filter, which I will be replacing before track day most likely.
