woooowww food service is NOT great, yall. they work HARD for the money, its nothing id ever want to do for a "living". if you guys are wondering why i even did it in the first place, i went to help out at G's sister's new restaurant... and poor poor G has to waitress 6 days a week, mostly double shifts! sheesh. good thing shes getting out of it soon!

i now have a new appreciation for people in food service, particularly when service is "bad". more likely its not that they are incompetent towards fulfulling your needs, the cause is more like they dont have enough servers to serve the whole restaurant effectively or something. mostly they are pretty good at what they do; you just caught them at the wrong time. if you be understanding to the situation, and write constructive comments on the receipt, chances are you're going to get better service next time. they are people too!

my two day "experiment" was completely exhausting, and makes me glad i have a relatively cushy REAL job.
