i'm currently sick, with a scratchy/sore throat.. i've found out the different types of meds and why/how they work.. wow who would have thought? doctors and nurses, i guess. for example, when you have a cough drop in your mouth, the sugars coat the inside of your throat, and the bad enzymes feed off of those sugars instead of your body.. so really, any type of hard candy will do for a cough drop.
